1. Hydrate, hydrate and hydrate!
Hydrated skin means long-lasting makeup. Moisturise your skin twice a day, after cleansing. Lots of water is good for you in general, but it can help keep your skin hydrated and plump.
2. Always remember: Exfoliation is our friend!
You don't want your makeup to look cakey. So get rid of the main culprit for this - dry skin cells. Exfoliate twice a week prior to your appointment.
3. Come with a naked face!
Makeup lies better on a freshly cleansed and moisturised face.
4. A smudge free change.
Wear a loose-fitting or button up shirt so you don't ruin your makeup.
5. Bring your inspiration photos.
Or you can find some here.
6. Touch up kit for later.
Throughout the day, you may need to touch up especially if you are dancing. eating and drinking. Pack a powder and a lipstick/lip gloss! If you have a preferred lipstick, bring this to your appointment.
